MITCHELL, S.D. The Dakota Wesleyan University men s and women s cross country teams competed at the South Dakota State University Cross Country Classic Saturday at Edgebrook Golf Course in Brookings, S.D.

The Tigers did not post a team score with two men and four women competing in the event.

The top finisher for the men was sophomore Lane Tibbs (Kenesaw, Neb.), who ended up in 48^th with a time of 27 minutes, 47.44 seconds. Sophomore Jeremiah Panec (Kenesaw, Neb.) finished 56^th for DWU with a time of 28:19.74.

On the women s side, sophomore Skylar Forgey (Colome, S.D.) was the top finisher for the Tigers, ending in 85^th with a time of 21:47.74.

Sophomore Jessica Nieses (Madison, S.D.) was 93^rd for DWU, while freshman Morgan Augehenbaugh (Huron, S.D.) and freshman Shailyn Schweigert (Burke, S.D.) finished 99^th and 103^rd, respectively.

The Tigers are next in action at the Briar Cliff Invitational Saturday, Oct. 11 in North Sioux City, S.D.
